Balcotan
Balcotan is a simple, cost effective and reliable waterproof glue which is easy to use in a wide variety of conditions. It is often used in marine projects for normal bonding applications prior to Epoxy coating due to its comparative low cost and minimal waste.
Because Balcotan cures by contact with the natural moisture present in all timbers and plywoods, it can be used in many situations where other types of glue would fail. Being a single part adhesive, waste is virtually eliminated, and excess cured glue can easily be removed from the work piece using a scraper. Balcotan is a solvent free adhesive, and once cured is resistant to weak acids, alkalis and a large number of organic solvents.
