The trade counter operation at Robbins Timber is a key function, which links all other departments and offers a very varied and dynamic working environment.

To ensure future continued success, we require an additional supervisor to support our established and experienced team.

The role of the trade counter is to serve call in trade, pick orders for delivery, wrap and pack for carriers and general housekeeping. You would take a supervisory role within this team of 5.

We offer full training both on the job via our authorised trainer, and/or external third party courses. You would be expected to eventually operate lifting equipment including a side-loader and forklift.

Previous experience in a warehousing or merchanting role is very welcome, but not critical. The role is also suited to a competent and friendly individual with an ability and willingness to learn. You may be starting out and interested in the ever evolving, very green timber sector, or you may be looking for a career change with a new challenge. Whatever your motivation, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay Types: Loyalty bonus / Yearly bonus
