If you would like to apply for a role with us, please do send your CV to Previous experience  helps, but is not always critical, as we offer full on the job or third party training dependent on the role.

Robbins Timber is committed to equal job opportunities for all employees and job applicants.

Our machining facility sits at the very heart of Robbins Timber and is critical to the overall service we offer. We continue to invest in our machinery and technology, as well as our operators.

To ensure our continued development, we require wood machinists to support our established and experienced team. We offer full training both on the job via our authorised trainer, and/or external third party courses.

Our machinery includes a tool room, multi-rip saw, band saw, cross cuts, spindle moulder, beam saw, thicknesser and several planer moulders. This large investment gives us both capacity and flexibility to meet a huge range of customer requirements. As a wood machinist you would be expected to eventually operate the full suite of machines.

Previous experience in this area is very welcome, but not critical. The role is also suited to a practical individual with an ability and willingness to learn. You may be starting out and interested in the ever evolving, very green timber sector, or you may be looking for a career change with a new challenge. Whatever your motivation, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Salary and benefits will be discussed at first round interview, but will reflect the experience/capability of the applicant and will be competitive.

Location: Bristol

Working hours: Mon to Thu – 6am to 5pm
